The Greek Orthodox Wedding of Georgia to Vasilis in Larissa, Greece
The radiant warmth of the Grecian season delightfully unfurled as the day of the wedding began. It was lovely to see Vasilis’ friends and family helping him prep for the day in that unembellished abode filled with laughter and camaraderie. Isabel, Dustin and the sublime African landscape (Second of Two)
It was 3:00 in the morning, the cold air of the Sahara piercing through our spines, the camp was restful from yesternight’s merriment. In the quiet of daybreak, the camels grunt from a distance as we prepared for the remaining days of the trip, to create more images and to bask in the unfathomable grace of seeing the mysterious outstretched desert, the enormous icy High Atlas, the vast fields of vibrant greens and yellows. Each road trip was a feast to the eyes, each scene screams glory. We rode the camels to the deeper part of the desert, unbeknownst where they may lead.
